The Jake Leg Jug Band brings you authentic sounds of 1920s and 30s America - Jazz, Blues, Gospel, Ragtime - and puts its own twist on it. Songs about murder, betrayal, gambling, liquor and redemption. The Jake Leg Jug Band's reputation as a lively, feel-good band is rapidly growing. The band's performance at the Congleton Jazz & Blues Festival drew the following comment: "Their image, style, and performance was wonderful and you really did buy into the prohibition-era feel of their set....wonderful sounds!" Recorded as part of the Vintage Recording Project.
