This covers the period when the Barber band made it’s last recordings as part of the Lansdowne Jazz Series for Denis Preston’s Record Supervision Ltd. It includes the EP ‘Introducing Ian’ featuring reed player, Ian Wheeler, plus the one featuring the boss himself, ‘In Barber’s Chair’. Also included are the tracks from the LP ‘Best Yet’, an LP recorded in Budapest’ and several singles including the two tracks from the film ‘It’s Trad Dad’. At least one track is previously unissued.
